    I run a site listings site for a Town and for all the events that are on facebook my reality is

    1/3 are created by pages with vanity url’s
    1/3 still use /pages/
    1/3 are created by individuals or groups.

    Are there plans to allow imports of events created by Profiles, Groups or just events with ‘/pages’ URL’s

    Is this plugin designed mostly for events that you control?

    Hi Chris,

    Thanks for reaching out to us 🙂 This plugin is not exclusively designed for events you control.

    Regarding the features you mention, I see in our backlog that importing events from groups is planned for next release (not 3.12 coming out this week). Please don’t take this for granted as it might be delayed or blocked by a Facebook API change.

    Events created by profiles can be imported manually by event ID at ‘WP-Admin > Events > Import: Facebook’ as long as they are public.

    events with ‘/pages’ URL’s

    Not sure about this, Can you share a URL to test this?

    I meant Events created by pages without vanity URL’s such as E.g.

    https://www.facebook.com/pages/Big-Untidy/190328169852

    I understand that I can also import these individually, by event ID – but am asking if importing these kind of pages is also on the road-map

    Hey Chris,

    Thanks for following up on this. Now I get you, but unfortunately I can’t find that feature in our product roadmap 🙁

    You are welcome to suggest that in The Events Calendar user voice page, where we collect feedback from our users. I think other users might be interested in having that feature as well.
