Facebook Events w/out event Pro?

In a hurry I just purchased the FAcebook event plugin but I wasn’t able to find the place to input my license key. Now it looks like I needed to purchase the $89 pro package and THEN the $49 facebook package on top of that? That’s too much for me… can I please cancel my Facebook Event plugin purchase now that I can’t use it?

Hi Megan.

Facebook Importer does require the free/core The Events Calendar, but you can definitely use it without Events Calendar PRO. May I ask what gave you this impression?

I am confused because I can’t find the location to input my license # in the standard version. When I tried to look up where, the instructions were only for the Pro version: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/finding-and-inputting-your-license-key/

So if I don’t need Pro… where do I put in my license #?

Hi Megan.

Make sure you have The Events Calendar free/core plugin installed and activated.

Then make sure you have the Facebook Importer plugin installed and activated.

Then go to wp-admin > Events > Settings > Licenses tab and input your license key for Facebook Importer.

If there’s no where to input it, please send me a screenshot of what you see there.
