MemberHi – I’m sorry you’re facing difficulties.
Would it be possible to link me both to an affected event and the corresponding event on Facebook?

ParticipantSure for example:
http://temeculavalleypolo.com/event/friday-night-polo-fathers-and-fedoras-2/
https://www.facebook.com/events/565402790241857/I had to fix the imported one’s time as it defaultd to 12am-3am on the following date.
Also the address is lacking the details. Please advise.

MemberThanks for sharing!
So I’m not sure why the address info didn’t carry across. I tried importing that event and the venue details came across as expected (but I do not there is no venue information on the single event page you linked to – did you subsequently remove the venue?).
The displacement in the import time is possibly easier to explain: the event is taking place at 2014-06-13T17:00:00-0700 which seems correct (UTC minus 7hrs). Given the gap between that and what you ended up with is it possible that you haven’t configured your WordPress timezone settings (in the General Settings screen) and they are still at UTC+0 (essentially, London time)?
That would explain the correction upon import where it was effectively pulled forward 7hrs.
Let me know!

ParticipantWell you can se for example, https://www.facebook.com/events/280150485498743/
Temecula Valley Polo Club
38801 Los Corralitos Road, Temecula, California 92592But when imported, no location shows:
http://temeculavalleypolo.com/event/friday-night-polo-5/Also is there a way to categorize the event before import?

MemberYes, I do see that – I just can’t replicate it locally: the venue imports perfectly for me.
Can you try our regular troubleshooting steps here? Try deactivating all other plugins except for The Events Calendar and Facebook Importer and switch to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Twelve. Then delete the existing event and try re-importing: does the venue come through this time?
With regards to the timezone difference, did that make sense/did you find your local timezone setting was incorrect?

MemberHmm not working at all…
OK, that’s a shame – do you mean you are completely unable to import events from Facebook, or that you’re continuing to hit this problem with the venue data (have you been able to test with other Facebook events and are you hitting the same problem with those)?
also why are my calendar titles so large?
Looks like a CSS issue – but we do try to stick to one issue per thread. Can you post a new thread for this issue? One of the team will then be only too happy to help.
Thanks!

ParticipantYes still testing importing events after deleting, same problem each time.

MemberHmm, I’m not too sure what to suggest at this point. I do see some events where the venue did come through such as this one:
http://temeculavalleypolo.com/event/friday-night-polo-4/
Did you manually restore the correct venue details there, or did that import correctly (ie, is the problem sporadic in nature)?
Yes still testing importing events after deleting, same problem each time.
Just for the avoidance of doubt, as I’m not too sure from your responses where we’re at at this point, can you confirm that you did indeed test this out with absolutely no other plugins running but for The Events Calendar and Facebook Events (and with a default, unmodified theme running)? Can you also confirm if you are hitting the same timezone issue or has that part been resolved?

MemberThat could be useful – however, we’d need to run through those same troubleshooting steps for ourselves that I already outlined (and would have to delete and re-import one or more events) which might cause some disruption. For that reason, if you could first make a backup – and ensure you know how to restore it – that would be a wise precaution, as we cannot accept responsibility from any issues that arise during troubleshooting.
Alternatively, if you have a test site or even could quickly install a fresh copy of WordPress plus our plugins and our plugins only in a sub-directory or something of that order then, if you find you can replicate the same issue there, share the login details with us at that point, that could be a safe we to conduct further troubleshooting.
