ParticipantHi there, I fell in love with the functionality of auto-importing Facebook events. It’s makes things much easier. Unfortunately it looks like I am having the same issue that I have seen on other threads, Facebook events are being imported multiple times.
I am running a multi-site with The Events Calendar (3.8.1), The Events Calendar PRO (3.8.1), The Events Calendar: Facebook Events (3.8.1) & The Events Calendar: Community Events (3.8.2).
I manually imported one event first of all to test the functionality of the plugin and to test whether I had correctly configured Facebook Events – it worked! Came back a day later to see that the event had been imported another 3 times. Facebook Events plugin had been configured to auto-import & publish every hour. Site is still under construction.
I look forward to your reply.

ParticipantHello danielp,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
This issue has been a very peculiar one for us since we have consistently been unable to replicate or find a line of consistency. Our overall suspicion is that this could potentially by a plugin conflict, however with the nature of the issue requiring the needed time to test, we’ve been unable to verify that suspicion.
If you have the ability, would you be able to setup a new install on your server and include just a default theme and just The Events Calendar plugins you listed above?
I apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused but hopefully this will help us to get to the bottom of this issue and help to get the problem resolved.
Thanks!

ParticipantI can give Site Access if you like.
I think the issue comes up, when the Facebook Site is making the Events or is editing the events…. couldn’t find out that yet. But active Facebook-Sites have the issue mor often than less active sites.January 22, 2015 at 8:30 pm #936557Josh
ParticipantHey!
Thanks for reaching out!
It’s best to open a new ticket even if the issues are similar. This allows us to ensure we’re able to answer your question as quickly as possible as well as ensure we’re able to answer you fully without having to answer multiple conversations within a single thread.
If you would, can you open a new ticket and include the list of Facebook pages that you’re importing from? Additionally, within that new thread, also add a private reply which has the system information found within the Events Settings -> Help tab of your WordPress dashboard. We’ve been unable to replicate this issue and we’re looking to find a root cause using settings and pages of those experiencing this issue.
Beyond that, the rest of our support that we’re able to give will be very similar to the original response to this thread.
danielp,
It’s been a while since we’ve heard from you. I’ll go ahead and close this ticket for now. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to open a new one.
Thanks!
