ParticipantI found that the pages that were like https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Tanda-Room/155429977868326 , that it worked to just post the number 155429977868326 instead of the username, for some reason. Still confused about the get request though.

MemberHi waukeganmainstreet,
Thanks for your note. Faceboo returns the “Unsupported get request” error when you try to access age or country restricted content using the API, since you need to be logged into Facebook as a user in that location or age group in order to see the content. Judging from The Tanda Room’s cover photo, that page and it’s events would be restricted to 18 and over. Alcohol related pages and events (such as those at bars) would also get this error, which I believe explains the other two you listed. That isn’t something that we can do anything about, since it’s blocked via the Facebook API.
Cheers,

ParticipantLeah,
Is there a way I can get a refund? My site will be focusing on bars.August 13, 2013 at 5:53 pm #60329treybowman
ParticipantPlus, in the video, a bar’s facebook page was added to the events. Which lead me to assume that all bars would be fine.

MemberHi treybowman,
Thanks for pointing that out! That’s definitely misleading, and I apologize. I got your email about a refund so we can continue discussion there.

ParticipantHello, I also purchased this and am using it for a bar site. Please let me know if I can get a refund as well or if there is a work around we can use.
Thanks!

MemberHi Carrie,
There isn’t a work around unfortunately- it’s just a fact of the Facebook API. I can provide a refund for you, I’ll just need you to email me at pro (at) tri.be and include your receipt from the original purchase.
I’m also going to bring this issue up as something we can warn folks about on the Facebook Events product page. I apologize again to everyone for the inconvenience.
