extra code appearing above and below ECP widget

Hi there –

i’m using the Dante theme with Site Origin’s Pagebuilder
page builder allows including your widgetized sidebars as a page element

the widget displays fine on the theme’s “normal” sidebars, but when i use it as a “widgetized element” w/Pagebuilder, it displays the code [slb_exclude] above and below the widget (see screenshots of both instances)

i just updated ECP and i believe this began occurring subsequent to that

not a WP or PHP expert here – i’d really like to display the widget in Pagebuilder’s widgetized sidebar element areas
any thoughts?

Hi – I’m sorry you’re hitting problems, here.

There may not be too much we can do here since Page Builder is a third party plugin, but can you confirm if all widgets are affected and appear to be wrapped in this shortcode – or if it is just event-related widgets?

Does (temporarily) deactivating Events Calendar PRO resolve the problem?
