External tickets

I had thought that making an external ticket would be as easy as editing the product in WooCommerce and changing the product type to “External/Affiliate product”, but that does not work.

How can I make it so a ticket set up this way replaces the “Add to cart” option with a link to the external site, like WooCommerce normally does?

Hi there,
At this time WooTickets does not support external tickets. Some day we’ll release an extension for it, though at the current time we do not have a timetable for that release.

It’s OK Kelly, I managed to hack together a solution using Advanced Custom Fields which let me enter an external URL.
