This is just a request for guidance/information. We’re using EC Pro very successfully. We’re in discussion with a vendor who creates mobile apps for organizations and have listed several things off our website we’d like included in such an app. Most have not been an issue, as we can generate an rss feed for them. An example is a specific daily post that we want ported over to the mobile app. Because the post has its own unique category, the app can simply address it with “http://sitename/?cat=xxx&feed=rss2” EC, as I understand it, is different, however… I have a reasonable grasp on how you generate the calendar dynamically, and can’t see any way to create a feed specific to it (and I think I kind of understand why, if that’s the case). My question is this: how might a third party address the calendar in a manner similar to the rss2 example above? I suppose they could simply display the page within the app using the url, but am just wondering if you can think of/provide a better way? Hope this makes sense, and apologies in advance for the somewhat non-technical explanation of the issue.
