Export Events – Same Data Regardless of Month Selected

I have V4.4.18 installed. I am trying to use the Export Events Button on the bottom on the page to get an ICS file for each month of the year.

Regardless of which month I select, it gives me the same data, which happens to be the current month of October 2017.

I have seen this issue in a support thread from earlier this year and mention of a fix in a much earlier version of the product. This version seems to have the same problem however.

This is critical as we have the need to share an entire year of events with a team that provides their events for the annual calendar. There is no other way to get the listing as there is no feature that allows for this. I tried to use the WordPress Export plugin to export Events, however the XML file that is exported can’t be converted to something like a CSV file with any success. Not sure if this is an Event Calendar Pro issue or WordPress.

If we could get the Export Events button on each month to properly export the events for that month in am ICS file, we could convert that.

Thanks for reaching out.

The export button should export the events of the visible month. If that is not the case we have a bug there. I will investigate and let you know about this.

As for a workaround, we do have an older little extension here.

Install and activate that plugin extension. After that you should be able to use the following URL to export the events of the full year:

http://example.com/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=year

I just found out that that older extension doesn’t work, will give you a 500 error. So instead of that you can use this snippet in your functions.php file and then the above url for exporting should work.
