ParticipantHey folks,
I have an expired pro version and don’t need the support anymore but I can no longer add recurring events because the end date field isn’t visible and WordPress throws the error that I need to set an end date on the recurrence when I try to save. Is there any way to remedy this problem without spending $90?

ParticipantWell, it appears that the box showed up when I left the screen and came back to it. Any ideas??

ParticipantI am wrong again! The end date settings for recurring events are showing up on old posts but won’t show up on new posts. Arg!

ParticipantHay @Musiclives,
I’m sorry about this news but unfortunately updating does seem like the only solution here. First, we cannot support outdated versions, so if there are issues on your site with this outdated version we cannot help troubleshoot those issues.
Next, it looks like your license(s) expired June 17, 2015 โย this is quite some time ago, and the code of both The Events Calendar core and add-ons like Events Calendar Pro have changed quite substantially. So the outdated code will not likely work well by this point in time.
I’m sorry about this news! Please let me know if it helps or if you have any further questions here.
Thank you,
GeorgeJanuary 13, 2016 at 8:47 am #1055347musiclives
ParticipantThat’s really too bad. $100/year is really steep for a non-revenue generating non-profit :/ It’s too bad that you guys don’t have another model for poor folks like us.

ParticipantHey @Musiclives,
We have a non-profit partnership program and you should definitely apply for it! ๐
You can learn more about it and find the application link here โ https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/do-you-offer-discounts-for-non-profit-organizations/?source=tri.be
Check that out! Let me know if that is helpful.
Sincerely,

ParticipantThat’s an awesome program – any support for Canadian non-charitable non-profits?

ParticipantApplications are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but generally speaking, absolutely ๐
Check out that page and file an application for further questions and such about this โย we can chat more privately about your application over email if need be.
I look forward to your application!
