ParticipantFirst off, I find it odd and slightly inappropriate that you force account and billing questions into an open forum.
Now for the issue. We subscribed to Events Calendar Pro with an expiration date of 8/3/2017. After some debating on new renewing based on the huge price increase (removing the renewal discount), we begrudgingly decided to renew. However after renewing your changed our expiration date to Jul 28th, 2018. I really hope this is a system glitch and you are not screwing over customers by not simply adding on another year to the existing date but by removing however many days they renew before their subscription expires.
Please correct asap.

MemberGood evening Mark and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear how you feel about the use of public forums in the context of billing and account questions. I would love to help you with this topic.
First off, this is a very valid point. In fact, I will bring this very topic up during our next team meeting.
With that in mind, I do not believe the goal was to force this as much as this being a simple oversight or extension of how all requests are handled for the time being.
Additionally, you can “cheat” by creating an opening statement and using private replies for all following communications.
I realize it is not a great solution, but it can serve as a workaround in the meantime should you have more sensitive questions in the future.

You are absolutely right. This is a system glitch.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
I have not only fixed this on your account, but:- Extended your license a couple of extra months as a token of our appreciation
- Opened a ticket so that glitch can be looked into
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

ParticipantThank you for your response. The additional extension was not was I was angling for but it is appreciated.
