ParticipantHi guys,
As recommended in the other posts I found about exclusions not working, here is my issue report about exclusions not working either. By the way, your plugin is FREAKING AMAZING. Every button I click unleashes something awesome-looking, which is very cool. I’m loving the ´Picture´overview!
My calendar is still in the testing stages so not finished and known to the public yet, but you can reach it through http://triggr.nu/agenda. I have created a few events with exclusions for holidays. For example, guitar lessons takes place every monday and wednesday throughout the year, except for a few specific days. None of the exclusions (for other events also) are working, the events just show up on all the days I entered for exclusion

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our pluigns and glad you like them. I can help troubleshoot this with you.
Thanks for providing the information that will help get to the bottom of this.
First, it is possible to come back and delete individuals events in the recurring series after they are created so that can be a temporary workaround for this.
We have a bug report in our system to address this.
I have added your ticket to that report as well.
For right now I only have the solution above as a work around until we can get a release out to fix this issue.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Brian,
Thanks, looking forward to the fix you’ve mentioned.I do have another issue though:
If you go to http://triggr.nu/agenda, you will see that I have changed the default setting to ‘Picture’ view. The strange part though is that when you open it at first, only 5 future events are visible. When navigating to the next page, there is only 1 event visible… I do know I’d created more, so I went back to the previous page, and then all of a sudden all missing events on the initial page show up again.SCREENSHOTS:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/40271012/eventscal/eventscal2.png
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/40271012/eventscal/eventscal3.pngI want this fixed since I do love the Picture-View, but not when our clients will miss out on events if they don’t move back and forth to the initial event page again. Can you look into this?
I have tried switching between some of the settings but can’t get it to work properly. I can fix it as well when giving the user the check box option to hide or show all parts of a repeat event. When initially loading the page, only 5 are shown. But when I deselect or select the checkbox to show or hide all parts of a repeat event, all 15 events show up!Secondly, when using the Month-view, I’m not that pleased with the way the tooltips are showing. Scroll down the page a bit and try to mouse-over one of the top events, you will see that most of the tooltip disappears. I’d love to have the tooltip show below the actual event if it appears that the tooltip will not be entirely readable if shown upwards.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/40271012/eventscal/eventscal4.pngThirdly, I’m not getting why the following is set up the way it is now: You can disable or enable showing repeating events in the list-view (which applies to Picture-view as well), or you can give the user the choice to apply this filter. You can’t do both. And that doesn’t make sense to me: Why is it not possible to have the user still be able to select if he wants to view all parts of a repeat event or not? What I mean is that I still want to give the user the choice, but set it to ‘hide all but the first upcoming event’ by default.

MemberHi,
So I can help out here, but in the future it is best to keep each thread to one topic so we can keep all on the same page of what is going on. I have tried to answer all your questions below:
If you go to http://triggr.nu/agenda, you will see that I have changed the default setting to ‘Picture’ view. The strange part though is that when you open it at first, only 5 future events are visible. When navigating to the next page, there is only 1 event visible… I do know I’d created more, so I went back to the previous page, and then all of a sudden all missing events on the initial page show up again.
I see you are using the Divi theme and it is their archive settings causing this as the Event Views are archives.
Head to Divi > Theme Options > General Settings > Number of Post displayed on Archive pages
Change that number to 10 or what you have as the number of events to show in our settings.
That should fix the issue.
Secondly, when using the Month-view, I’m not that pleased with the way the tooltips are showing. Scroll down the page a bit and try to mouse-over one of the top events, you will see that most of the tooltip disappears. I’d love to have the tooltip show below the actual event if it appears that the tooltip will not be entirely readable if shown upwards.
It looks like a theme conflict with your floating header.
Try out this css:
.tribe-events-month .tribe-events-calendar .tribe-events-tooltip {
z-index: 99999;
}Add that css to your theme’s stylesheet or through a plugin such as Simple Custom CSS.
Thirdly, I’m not getting why the following is set up the way it is now: You can disable or enable showing repeating events in the list-view (which applies to Picture-view as well), or you can give the user the choice to apply this filter. You can’t do both. And that doesn’t make sense to me: Why is it not possible to have the user still be able to select if he wants to view all parts of a repeat event or not? What I mean is that I still want to give the user the choice, but set it to ‘hide all but the first upcoming event’ by default.
The feature is coded to be either or. It is not coded for both, if you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Brian,
Thanks again for the support! Your first two suggestions fixed both issues, awesome!
I have posted the suggestion on the uservoice platform to see if I can get my ‘voice’ heard 😉Strangely though, the floating header issue I have with the divi theme is only happening on the Event Calendar page… Do you have any suggestions to fix it to work like on all other pages on the site? Since this is only happening on the EC page, I was wondering if you see anything that might cause this to happen.

MemberThanks for making the suggestion! And glad the other two points help.
I am limited in supporting theme compatibility issues, but I took a look.
I could not see why it does not work normally. I am not familiar with Divi on this part.
Have you reached out to them maybe they have a suggestion of what is wrong? If so maybe we could meet in the middle with them to get a fix for it.
Let me know.
Thanks
