Hello everyone,

I’ve news downloaded The Events Calendar Pro plugin and am setting it up for a client. I’ve come across something that for some reason I can’t get to work. They have an event every week on Wednesday during the months of Jan-May and Aug-Dec.

This is how I set it up:
Event
Recurring: Weekly
Ending: Never
Exclusions: Yearly and I check the boxes for June and July

For some reason however the event still shows up for those months.

Have I done something wrong?

Would you mind sending the screenshot for the event settings so can see the exact dates and settings selected to make sure there isn’t anything out of place there?

Also, doing a quick test for the yearly exclusion and month selection there, did you also select the final option for that exclusion where the “on the:” select boxes begin?

Thanks for reaching out to us!

It looks like the Yearly with month selections aren’t working without the additional “On the:” option selected at the end.

The best approach with this current version may be to do specific date exclusions on the events for the recurrences that would fall on those two months.

However, I do believe there is an actual bug here so I’ve recorded an internal ticket for this issue and have added this thread to that issue. You’ll be notified here as we work to resolve this particular issue. If you have any questions or concerns about the process, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
