Excluding categories

Hi,

I found this thread to exclude categories:

Exclude Events / Categories from Upcoming Events Widget

Works like a charm, except that when you go to the next page (front end, list view) or next month, the excluded categories become visible. Are these next pages ajaxed in? Is that what’s causing the problem?

Can you take a look and see if there is a way to exclude categories on the paged content as well?

Where are you exactly trying to hide events from different categories? In a widget or on a calendar view? Which one?

Yes, it looks like that it doesn’t influence the ajax calls made in the month view.

Our hands are full at the moment, give me some time and I’ll get in touch with the original snippet author if he can cook something up quickly. I ask for a bit of patience.

Yes, the list view is also using ajax calls I believe.

Talked to the author and he said he will try to look at it, however he is pretty busy at the moment, so couldn’t give me an estimate. Thanks for hanging in there.
