ParticipantI’d like to exclude ongoing events from the list widget without hiding that event from the main calendar list. We display five events on the widget, but three of them have been ongoing for a few months and are unnecessary on the widget right now. Is there any way to do this or to choose which events to hide specifically from the widget?

MemberMelissa: thank you for this note, and my apologies that we let it slip by. We’ve failed you here and I wanted to follow-up now to try my best towards getting things back on track.
I was thinking about your problem here and I can see your reasoning. What about something like: setting those events that are ongoing as a separate category for the time being, and then having the widget filter to show events from a category other than that one? This way you could have all the events you DO want to show in one category, which would be called in by the widget. And the events you don’t want shown would be excluded from the widget but still available as part of the broader calendar.
Might that meet your needs? Let me know if not.

ParticipantThanks for responding! I know you have been dealing with plenty of more immediate issues. I understand the wait.
I created a category for events I want to show. Is there any way to hide just that category within the events listings? It’s just for our admin info. I don’t really want the public to see it.

ParticipantHi, Melissa. Unfortunately, we don’t have a solution for you at present.
We’re definitely looking to add it to our list of tutorials, but we don’t have it ready for primetime yet. If you were looking to do something for the entire list view, beyond just the widget as this thread started out, please create a separate ticket.
Thanks – and sorry we can’t do more on this occasion.
