Exclude One Category from Events Listing, Show Excluded Category on Category Pag

Hi. Currently, we have a calendar on our website displaying all college events:

http://www.lfcc.edu/events/

I have set up a specific category that only staff should be able to view:

http://www.lfcc.edu/events/category/internal-calendar/

Is there a way that I can exclude that category from showing on the main calendar (http://www.lfcc.edu/events/) and still show on the category page for staff?

I have a snippet to exclude categories from the month view:

You can use that as a base and then add more conditionals to target all the views you are using:
