Exclude events from search results?

I’d like to exclude events from the search results. How can I achieve this? Thanks.

Try adding this to your functions.php file:


function exclude_from_search($query) {
if ($query->is_search) {
$query->set('post_type', 'post');
}
return $query;
}
add_filter('pre_get_posts','exclude_from_search');
