    Hello,

I am currently working for an organization, posting events on their calendar using this plug-in. My organization often does All-Day events but these are not always consecutive days. I was hoping there was a way to exclude full days without making an event series. Series are not desired because of the fact that it clutters list view when you want to see the full date range and when you view without recurrence, there is no description of the date range, only the date of the specific event in the series.

    Thank you in advance

To clarify, we do all day events across multiple days, with some exclusions.

    Hi Greg!

Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, the “event series” functionality is how the Event Calendar Pro handles non-consecutive multi-day events. I understand that the way it works does not perfectly meet every user’s needs, but fortunately the plugins are fairly extendable.

It is possible to customize a template to show the full date range of an event series. You can read more about how to approach this on this support thread.

For more information on customizing Events templates, check out our Themer’s Guide.

Let me know if this helps, or if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,
    Sky

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
