"Evil Spammer" check box and text doesn't appear? How do I turn this on?

Where is this? When I look at my page source I see a <!– Spam Control –> comment but nothing show up under it… Could it be connected to the this code I added to my theme functions file to hide the category option on the submission form?

Here is my form:

Here is the code someone had me add to the functions file to hide the category (plus my own CSS for the form I added via the function file):

However, even when I remove all of this code and return to default the “I am not an evil spammer” box still doesn’t show up.

I am using Events Calendar Pro Version 3.4 and Community Events Version 3.4.

Thanks for getting in touch! We’re using a honeypot spam fighting technique on the Community Event Submission form, so you won’t actually see any elements on the page for this. I hope that helps to answer your question, but let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂
