Evetns Calendar PRO Location – How many miles is "Near"?

Hi, I did a search for “Wooster OH” in the Demo http://wpshindig.com/events/ and got events for Toronto Canada, Toronto Coffee & Code.

How many miles is “Near”? These two locations are 350 miles apart and I wouldn’t consider that near!

Can the radius be set in the settings?

Yes, the radius is a configurable setting in the plugin. Here’s a screenshot of how that looks:

To be honest, I do not have the credentials to log into the site. I can confirm though that it would be less than 350 miles.

I did a search for events in Wooster and saw what you’re talking about. However, if you limit the search in the filters to 5 miles, then that returns no events at all:

http://wpshindig.com/events/2016-08/?tribe-bar-geoloc-lat=40.8050565&tribe-bar-geoloc-lng=-81.93514299999998&tribe-bar-geoloc=Wooster&tribe_geofence=5
