ParticipantI checked everything on our end, and it appears it is the venue coding that is the culprit, but only on the map view.
If you switch to month view all the events appear. I tried creating additional new venues and it’s the same problem regardless of address – the only venues that work are the ones already in the database.
So it is probably something about the venue creation process that is broken. I checked our API pulls and at least on Googles end it’s reporting the requests as satisfied. take a look please?July 20, 2018 at 5:56 am #1579954Jeremy
KeymasterHi,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
I had a look at your website but it seemed like venues were showing up on map view. Could you give me a specific example of an event whose venue doesn’t show up?
Cheers,

ParticipantBeen dealing with the same problem since the last update, among others–

This isn’t on the user end, Jeremy, it’s a problem with the update.

KeymasterHi Wayne,
I’m sorry to hear you’re having some trouble with the map view as well. Could you please create a new thread, so that we could handle your case in the best possible way?

ParticipantI tried fiddling with the API to no avail. I also tried checking against conflicts with other plugins, still no change.

KeymasterHi,
Could you tell me if your events appear by using coordinates? In order to do so, navigate to Events → Venues. If you click Edit on one of the venues, there is an option to use latitude and longitude coordinates. Click on that option for each venue. Confirm the coordinates, save the venue, and then see if that makes a difference in the map’s appearance.
You might also find more resources in our article about troubleshooting Google Maps.
Please let me know how it goes.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
