ParticipantHi again,
Sorry – another problem now that editing recurring events is resolved. The widget is seemingly only displaying random events. I can’t figure out any rhyme or reason for why its displaying some events but not others. Doesn’t seem to matter if an event is a single occurrence or recurring. In list view they are incorrect as well – not listing most of them. However in the calendar and weekly view they seem to be okay….
Thanks in advance once again.

ParticipantAlso, if I specify a date in “events from ” in list view – then they will all show up?

MemberHi dmystudio,
Not too sure I understand: I only see the Events List widget and the events it is listing correspond to those I see on your /yoga_classes/category/classes/upcoming/ page – might it be that you have set the widget to display events from that same category?
What are the results you expect to see here?

ParticipantPlease look at the calendar view:
/yoga_classes/2013-10/
That’s what I expected to see.The events listed in the calendar view are not showing up in the widget. The widget is set to display all. I actually didn’t even have it broken into categories at first. I tried doing that only to see if it would make a difference.
Neither the widget -or- the list view show all events. The calendar view does. If I’m on the list view page and I then specify a date, then the dates will show up, but only then.

MemberOK … it does rather feel like I’m looking at a moving target here 🙂
When I looked previously, the output of the widget was as per the classes category. Now it is as per the general upcoming events list which indicates that it is no longer restricted to any particular category.
In either case it seems like it is functioning as expected. I do see that you have additional events on the calendar and these mostly look like recurring instances. Is it possible you have also enabled the show only the first instance of each recurring event setting in the Events → Settings → General admin screen – does disabling this improve the situation?
