Events, Venues and Organisers won't save

Hi,

I have recently upgraded to the latest version of Event Calendar Pro (3.5.1) and now I can’t save any new, or edit any existing, events, venues or organisers!

If I import via .csv they will be imported with all of the details intact but I then can’t save any edits I make to them and it defaults the country to United States (I am in the UK).

When I create or edit an event/venue/organiser it will save as a post and the page is created but the only info that actually is recorded is the post title and description. None of the additional information is saved (i.e. contact details, start/end time, address etc…)

I read that this could sometimes be a general issue with wordpress and that repairing tables via PHPMyAdmin might help. I have done that but it hasn’t helped. I can create standard wordpress posts and everything is saved. I have disabled all plugins except the Event Calendar Pro/Event Calendar and I have reverted to the Twenty Thirteen, and then the Twenty Eleven, theme. Nothing seems to solve it.

Please help, this is a bit of a disaster 🙁

It seems I have solved the problem by updating my version of WordPress from 3.6.1 to 3.8.3 … I will report back if that proves not to be the case

Here’s hoping that doesn’t now cause a slew of issues with other plugins that I am using!

(PS It seems the paragraph breaks are only ignored when previewing a post, they show up in the actual post – not a very good preview?)

We are getting the same issue at the moment when we updated to the latest Event Calendar Pro, Will try to update to 3.8.3 and see how it goes.

No problem. All working fine now with the new version (3.8.3) of WP

Updated WP to 3.9. Fixed the problem AFAIK.
