    Hi there
We are looking at replacing our dated website with WooCommerce as it will tie in with Pos systems such as Vend. WooCommerce will handle the eCommerce side of the website with easy but the only problem is we need a system for handling our travel agent / expeditions side of the business. I’m not sure if your Events system can do the job?

We need a set of Categories which are usually a Country such as Nepal then a set of holidays people can book within that country. Each holiday is to a Mountain or organised Trek etc such as Everest Base Camp Tek with 15 dates available over a set period of time. The dates will no longer be available after that start date has been reached.

Each holiday will have a gallery, associated info such as grades, insurance, Google map etc, downloadable trip notes and a set of Bookable dates which are connected to a booking form and T&C’s that need agreeing prior to paying for the holiday. All of this should be kept within the WooCommerce system if possible as products?
    Many thanks in advance

    Hi Neil,

The Events Calendar plugin is not currently set up to be a booking solution. There are parts of what you ask that it can do, but I think you’ll be better served by looking elsewhere for a plugin designed more specifically to suit your needs.

If you want to poke around a demo site to see for yourself, check out http://wpshindig.com/events/.

Sorry we can’t help you at the moment.
