ParticipantI’m working with The Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO, and Community Event on a dev site and having issues where the main Events URL is redirecting to a single event instead of the Month View, which is selected in the display settings.
If I change the display setting to list view, the URL does not redirect, showing the list view, but I cannot event see the month view when selecting it from the views drop-down on the front end of the site.
I’ve deactivated all other plugins and switched to the 2014 theme, which did not resolve the issue.
Any help is appreciated!

ModeratorHi and welcome back!
The behavior you describe definitely doesn’t sound typical! Would you mind sending over your System Information as a private reply?
I can’t recall any other users experiencing this problem, so that info will be a good place to start. Thank you for reaching out and enjoy your Thursday.
Cheers!

ParticipantUpdate – I’m able to see the month view if I use the slug for a single event URL and not the Events URL I’ve set in the settings options. (Using /event/ instead of /events/). Very, very odd.
I suppose this is a good workaround for the time being, but I would like to go back to the regular events URL at some point.

ModeratorHello and thank you for sending over that info 🙂
I am admittedly a little confused by your last response. Is there any way you can provide more clarification and screenshots if possible? I visited your site and each view appears to be working correctly, but respond back with as much detail as possible and I’d be happy to continue investigating.
Have a great weekend and thanks for your patience while we work on a resolution.

ParticipantThe issue is not on my live site (adventuresinnortheastohio.com), it’s happening on a dev site.
Could it possibly be a license key conflict? The dev site I’m working on is not on the same server, but I’m using the same license keys as the theme I’m working on will eventually be put onto the live site.

ModeratorWelcome back 🙂
That could definitely be the cause of conflict. Check out this article on Moving your license keys and let me know if the issue still occurs. If so, we’ll continue investigating. Thanks for the reply and have a great rest of your day.
Cheers!

ParticipantUnfortunately, fixing the license issue did not fix the problem with the month view, so I’m thinking it definitely has to be an issue with customization that I did on my end since this issue isn’t occurring on my live site.
I’m going to go back and check out the customizations I did in my theme to see if I can figure out what the root of the issue is. If you want to go ahead and close the thread, feel free.
