Events turn to "passed" before time of event

I have a Sunday morning yoga class and when it was a single event and still now that it is a repeating event it has always shows as “passed” first thing Sunday morning, even though it is from 10:30 to 11:45 am. How do I get it to stay current until 11:45 am? (Now that it is repeating, it switches to the next week first thing Sunday morning.)

That’s strange – certainly it should stay current until the end time passes (and that’s what I see if I try to replicate this scenario locally). In the first instance can you check your date/time settings by visiting the Settings → General admin screen – what is this set to/is it correct?

I found it. The timezone in the overall general settings for the theme needed to be UTC-6 (minus 6 hours). It had been set at “0.” I think that will fix it. Thank you.
