Events to Venues & Organizers

Hi there,

We have Events and location is associated with Event. We mapped Event Location with the Venue location while loading data to Events Calendar.

For Ex : Event1, Event1 Location, mapped to Venue1 & Location,
Event2, Event2 Location, mapped to Venue2 & Location,
If Venue1 and Venue2 name is same it is updated and When viewing Event1 in the calendar it maps with Venue2 & Location which is incorrect.

Our Data structure is

Event&Location –> Mapped to 1..n Venue Name & Location
–> Mapped to 1..n Organizer Name & Location
Where Venue Name & Organizer name are not unique.

Please advice what is the best way to import data to the Calendar

It sounds like our CSV importer would be a great way for you to get this data into The Events Calendar and preserve those relationships. You can read more about it here:

So I’m not entirely sure what your actual question is here.

Can you rephrase or else illustrate your question with some concrete examples of what you want to achieve and avoid?
