GuestCan you create a category for the events tickets in woocommerce or does it automatically create a category for them? I ask as my store is set up so that different categories have different payment options. I want to make sure that I can set up the events tickets with the correct payment options. With my current set up, if a product does not have a category, there is no payment options available. Thanks!!

KeymasterHi Shayne,
Thanks for reaching out!
You can assign categories to the ticket products in WooCommerce, but that is not done automatically out of the box. I believe thought that with a little snippet / code you could achieve that for example a “ticket” category is assigned to all the tickets when they are created.
Let us know if you have any further questions on this topic.

GuestThank you for the reply. If I understand your response, Tickets Plus creates a Product that can be seen in the Dashboard but not in the webshop online, and can be edited as such to assign a category? However, by default this is not done automatically.
I just want to be sure this plug in will work with our current set up before purchasing. On that note, if I do purchase the plug in (I’m thinking Tickets Plus and Calendar PRO), are you able to provide that code to automatically assign a category to created ticket?

KeymasterHi Shayne,
Andras is out on a retreat so I will try and help. In regards to you confirmation, that is correct. It creates the product and you can then go and assign things like category to it manually.
Once you purchase our premium plugin we do give you access to our premium support forum where you can find extensions and request further snippets if available. If its out of our scope, we can then give you a list of recommended customizers to help.
Hope that helps!
Let me us know if you have any other questions, and for whatever reason the plugin does not meet your needs, you can request a refund within the first 30 days.
Thanks,
