    We utilize The Events Calendar Pro (v4.2.5) with Events Tickets Plus (4.2.6) with Woocommerce. When looking at the attendee data to prepare for the event (export of csv file of all attendees); it seems arbitrarily there was data missing from some of the registrations from custom ticket field sets that were set to be required. Is this a know issue and how can this be prevented. We have the custom field sets because the information is absolutely required (such as waiver) and cannot have the data not be not saved/transmitted/accessible after registration is complete. Registration did complete successfully, as participants paid for the event, however, if they had not filled out the information, they should not have been allowed to event proceed to the payment page. Please advise. We will go thourgh and update to the latest versions, as we did not want to do that in the last days before the event we had scheduled. but we need to ensure this does not happen again. The website is http://www.pacemakersurn.org; however, we don’t an update race at the moment with ticket information – as the next race is being prepped currently. I will attache a spreadsheet with the registration data (privately)- the yellow lines indicate records that had partial or complete custom ticket information missing. (email, DOB and phone info was removed to protect participants.)

    Hi George – we have had only 1 active event thus far and the second one is coming up in April of next year, so I do not know if the issue is across the board or isolated to this one event. Information for the new event is being setup in the next few weeks and once we start getting registrations in, we will know more. i.e was the issue resolved by recent version updates, was it a fluke, or is it a consistent ongoing problem. We will certainly watch any new registrations very closely, to see if we find information missing, but it might be a little while before we have that information.

    Thanks Sabine — for your information here, and for your patience as we continue to investigate this.

    One thing I’m curious about is if you could please make a test event, with test tickets? This way, you can test in one setting if newly-created events suffer the same issues, instead of waiting until the future “real” event.

    I would recommend making two test events, actually:

    • One with just as many “Additional Fields” as the first event, which had the issues.
    • Another with only one or two “Additional Fields”.

    See if issues arise once you make these test events and do some test ticket purchase/registrations (make yourself a 100%-off coupon code so you don’t have to actually spend money in the transactions).


    If issues do persist in these test events, then deactivate ALL plugins on your site except for only these ones:
    • The Events Calendar 4.3
    • Event Tickets 4.3
    • Event Tickets Plus 4.3
    • WooCommerce 2.6.6

    Then, activate a default theme like Twenty Sixteen or Twenty Twelve.

    Then, repeat the process above of creating two test events, with test tickets of different amount of “Additional Fields”, and try testing again.

    What do you find by doing these tests?
