GuestOne of our clients websites we have been working on uses woo commerce for sales and they would like to add in ticket sales for events they run.
As the site is for members it’s important that when purchasing a ticket members can see who else has also purchased for the event.
The back-end of Event Tickets Plus is great for admins to check-in and run attendee lists, but is it possible to display the names of members attending on the event ticket purchase page using shortcodes or other means simply?September 22, 2016 at 4:08 pm #1167701Geoff
MemberHey there,
Great question! Event Tickets Plus does indeed have a feature that allows you to display a list of attendees registered for an event. It includes a “Who’s Attending” section on the event that displays the attendee photos from Gravatar.
Here’s a screenshot of the feature. You can ignore the number that three people are attending with one photo displayed because I pulled this from my test site where I had tested multiple purchases from the same account. 🙂
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

GuestThanks for the reply.
Almost.
As it’s a member site is there a way to show names of attendees rather than gravatar or other user image?
If there are 10 people booked to attend an event we need to be able to see all 10 names.September 23, 2016 at 7:34 am #1167903Geoff
MemberHey GC, thanks for following up!
I’m sure there would be a way to display the names of attendees and use other images, but Event Tickets Plus does not support that out of the box and would require a bit of custom development to make it happen.
Sorry for the bad news there, but does that at least help clarify things a little more?
Cheers,

GuestThat does help.
I’m assuming that the gravatar is picked up from within the user account, so if this was modified using something like the WP User Avatar plugin that it would show those images?
If the client was happy with just these images this could be the solution.September 23, 2016 at 2:19 pm #1168149Geoff

I just gave that a try (great idea!) but it does not appear to do the trick. I believe that Event Tickets Plus looks specifically for the Gravatar image and bypasses any customization that WP User Avatar tries to add in. It’s possible that another plugin might do the trick, but it did not appear to in this case, I’m afraid.
Any other questions about displaying attendees? Definitely let me know and I’m happy to help as best I can!
