Events tab has completely disappeared

This morning I noticed events were not displaying in month view so I checked out the forum and saw that others were having a similar issue that was successfully resolved by downloading the update. I subsequently downloaded the update but instead of fixing things it resulted in the Events tab completely disappearing. Events Calendar Pro still shows up under the Plugins tab but no Events tab. I re-downloaded it but it’s still not showing up. Please advise on how to return full functionality and visibility!

We are sorry to hear about the events tab disappearing on you.
I would love to help you with this topic.

It sounds like for some reason the Events Calendar (free) is not active.
Both the Events Calendar and the Events Calendar Pro need to be activated for things to work properly.

If you are having issues getting it to activate, you could simply delete the Events Calendar plugin (manually or through the plugins page) and reinstall it from scratch (no events will be lost in the process).
