ParticipantSome events depending on the title, overlap with other date boxes or other events
Any way to squish them back into their box or only display the first few words with a … in the hyperlink?

ParticipantDue to the strong response to our Cyber Monday sales, we’ve fallen a bit behind on responding here in our forums. I do apologize for that. We don’t like it when that happens and are working hard at catching up. We will get to your question just as quick as we can.

ParticipantHi, ausagventures. Great question! 🙂
Would you mind sending us a screenshot or two of the behavior you’re referring to? That will make it easier for us to get an idea of what’s happening.

ParticipantYou should be able to see it on the calendar here

ParticipantHi, ausagventures. I definitely see what you’re talking about. It’s like your month view is listing to starboard! 🙂
I’d recommend you add this to a custom tribe-events.css stylesheet: http://pastebin.com/cVejxCQX
That should do the trick, but please let us know how it goes, either way. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantHi Kelly
I actually don’t know anything about CSS and coding. Can you please tell me where that is supposed to go in the stylesheet?

ParticipantSorry about that, ausagventures! 🙂 Please check out the final section of our Themer’s Guide, linked in the sidebar, for a detailed explanation of how to do the override. That should get you in business.
Please let us know how it goes! 🙂

ParticipantHi, ausagventures. Sorry that it’s hard to find. If you search for “Customizing Styles”, you’ll be brought to it. It’s from that heading to the bottom.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantStill can’t find anything- I’m in my wordpress dashboard though. That’s the only end I know how to access and use. Like I said, I don’t know anything about coding which is why I paid for a plugin rather than build one etc 🙂

ParticipantThat’s a tricky one, ausagventures. We’re set up to offer guidance and help you through doing these things on your own, but that’s about the limit of what we’re able to provide.
If you’re having trouble working through the steps in the Themer’s Guide, I’d be happy to share with you a list of freelancers that we can vouch for. Any of them should be able to get you back on track in a jiffy.

ParticipantI understand that, but I’ve just paid $65 for a plugin that doesn’t work properly… I don’t understand why I should have to pay extra to get someone else to fix it?

ParticipantHi, ausagventures. I definitely understand your frustration. The problem is that our plugin is working, and your theme is working, but they’re not working perfectly together.
I’ve given you the tools you need to get this resolved on your own. If that’s beyond your comfort zone, I’m happy to suggest some folks that could help you. Unfortunately, going in and customizing your site for you is outside the scope of our support.
I hope what’s going on makes sense. This should be a really quick fix for an experienced freelancer.
