    We’ve notice that when we create new events, if we wait to put a price in when we “edit in WooCommerce” instead of putting a price in at event creation phase, our evens show up as Free at the top but have the correct prices at the bottom. Naturally this is very confusing for our students and we have been getting lots of emails. We seem to have resolve the issue by going to the events, editing all in the series, clicking on the ticket to edit, and then saving the ticket without making any changes and then updating the event. Tedious.

    I would love to help you with this topic.

    You bring a very good point and you are 100% correct about the workaround.

    What is going on is that the _EventCost entry in wp_posts for the event is not being updated when you update the price in WooCommerce directly.

    I will have to run this by our Dev and see what we can do about that.

    In the meantime, short of the workaround you already found, the only temporary solutions would be to:

    1. Hide the price label where it says free – less than ideal for sure
    2. Do a template customization to replace the _EventCost price by the actual WooCommerce ticket price from the Database

    Events with tickets showing up as “Free” was brought up a while back by another user (not me), we added on our confirmation of the same issue in this thread, https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/woocommerce-integration-incorrectly-sets-price-and-stock/

    …and a fix was supposedly underway in March. The issue is still present and we have a very frustrated client.

    I feel like Modern Tribe needs to escalate this problem and get a fix pushed out immediately. We have gone for months with no official update and have been watching release notes looking for the bug to be addressed.

    I am very sorry to hear that this was not fixed to your expectations back in March.

    Thank you for being upfront about your perception of how bugs are handled on our end.
    It certainly helps us grow and improve in how we handle and communicate things.

    I can absolutely see how this can be very frustrating on your end (and on your client’s end).

    As stated in my previous reply, I am following-up on this topic with Dev to get a workaround / temporary fix on this issue that is most likely impacting many of our customers workflow.
