Events Settings Display are not saving in the backend and No Shortcode??

I did what the forums said. Set the theme to a default wp theme, deactivated all plugins except for the Events Cal Pro and Free version…and guess what? The settings still don’t save on the backend. So anytime I need to change a setting for example swap out an image on the html code section….I have to set all the fields again, because my previous settings are no longer there and will save as though I didn’t set them.

Instead of using this Add HTML before event content and Add HTML After event content, can I just use a short code within my wp pages to display my list of events in the list view that the template uses? Not this short code [tribe_events_list]…it ignores all the formatting. Is there one for the default events page in list view short code I can use?

My apologies for not responding to your thread sooner, it somehow eluded me!

We do have a logged bug at priority 1 (A.K.A. Thread Level Midnight) which aims to address the settings not being saved. I’ve attached this thread to the bug for the developers to reference. Unfortunately, I don’t have a solid date/time to give you, but I can assure you it’s on it’s way.

To address your second question, if you haven’t already, read through our PRO widget shortcodes article to see if there is a shortcode that might work for you. I don’t believe we have a shortcode that does exactly what you need, but we do have some pretty cool stuff coming up in a feature release that is focused on improving how our plugin displays events.
