Since it’s happening on single events, can you confirm that it still happens when you deactivate all plugins and revert to the default Twenty Twelve theme? It’s likely that it is a conflict with another plugin or possibly the theme.
With regards to response time, we do our best to meet our 24-48 hour response time goal, which we seem to be within here. We apparently failed to communicate our response time policy clearly, but anything quicker is unrealistic given the support load. What would you consider to be timely support?
