I recently purchased the events calendar pro with the expectation that the plugin would come packaged with with “badass features” that I could only get if I purchased calendar pro. Specifically the filter bar. Wondering if I could get a copy of filter bar in exchange for the copy of pro I just purchased?

You can absolutely exchange that license. After reviewing our PRO page, we did find some wording that was a bit vague regarding the Filterbar, I can definitely see why you might have interpreted it to mean you got a free copy. We have updated the wording, thank you for bringing this to our attention!
