ParticipantHello, we just downloaded the plugin and added a few events manually. We had went into the preferences and set it the calendar to public too. We published had posted a link and got feedback of Error 404. I can see it ON the calendar (also ONLY when logged in as admin), but when I hit the link to go to it’s listing page it results in 404 Error.
You can see the “dot” on the calendar date (again, ONLY when logged in. Anyone else sees a blank calendar) but error out when you hit it. So it HALF works for ONLY the admin. Everyone sees a completely empty calendar.
Here’s the site:

Calendar is in the right sidebar. We went through all the viewer settings, deactivated and reactivated, double checked the licensing key… Just can’t figure it out! Hoping it’s just something staring me right in the face.
Any ideas?
(PS: We are running on Genesis, not sure that makes a difference)

MemberHello jasonmcartor,
Thanks for upgrading, we’ll get you on your feet as soon as we can!
The problem you’re facing could be any number of reasons.
First, you may need to “flush permalinks,” by resaving your permalinks in the Settings > Permalinks admin page. That *might* solve the 404 issues.
Second, I would doubly check the publish status on the events themselves. Make sure they are not marked ‘Private’, as only logged in users will see them.
The license key won’t be a problem here, it doesn’t affect the functionality.
If the first two don’t help, it is more than likely a plugin or theme conflict. We have a great tutorial with instructions on normalizing your system, to see which chunk of code is causing the issues.
Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.
Cheers!

ParticipantI think the normalizing tutorial link you shared work. It seems to have a conflict with a Plugin called Role Scoper, a permissions based tool. I think we’re good! Perhaps you can add red flag that Plugin for others so they also don’t have the same issue.
Thanks Casey for your help.
