ParticipantHow do I edit the Events Page title? The title is incorrect and is being populated based on an upcoming event instead of it saying Events.

Participantangelakienholz,
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Can you try temporarily reverting to the default 2013 theme to see if this issue persists? I suspect that this is an issue with your theme, but just want to narrow it down a bit before troubleshooting further. Thanks! π-Casey-

ParticipantWell, it looks like you guessed correct…it has something to do with my theme π Thoughts?
Thanks so much!

Participantangelakienholz,
Glad you were able to identify the cause. I would suggest reaching out to the developer of your theme to see if they can offer you some help with this. Due to our limited support staff, and the sheer number of third-party WordPress themes that exist, we can’t provide support for these types of issues. We’d be happy to answer any questions the theme developer might have about our plugin, to insure that their theme is compatible.Hopefully this gets you pointed in the right direction, but please let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! π

ParticipantHi Casey, just wanted to let you know that I did some searching in the forums of my theme and another user posted the solution to this issue, of which the post came from you guys…thought you might want to know in case others have a similar question/issue. https://theeventscalendar.com/faqs/the-calendar-page-title-shows-title-of-an-event/ I haven’t tried it yet, gotta figure that out, but will mark as resolved once it gets fixed/if it works. Thanks.

ParticipantCasey, thanks for the follow up. I think the issue is resolved. I never did try the code because once I went into Settings > Display > Default Events Template, the problem was fixed π But, I am changing to a new theme soon so we will see how that goes. For now the issue is resolved. Thank you.
