Events page not rendering with a calendar

Hello,

I have event calendar pro plugin. I installed and activated event calendar plugin first before activating the pro version.

Event display functionalities such as “event countdown”, “event list”, “event calendar” all work in the side bar. I was also successful in incorporating the full calendar as a widget into section of one my pages through short code. The single events page does display properly. As a matter of fact, it will through this page and the “all events” url that I found the events page.

The issue is that my events page does not render a calendar but a block with words as per attached. I have:
– set premalinks in settings of WP to “post name”
– checked and confirmed event calendar and event calendar pro are last version

Please advise what needs to be done and bear in mind that I have very little technical expertise so rewriting WP codes will be a challenge.
