Hello,
Im having issues with my events page when using https (which the link was by default). However when I change it to http it works fine…

I’ve since installed a SSL cert, however the issue still remains, can you help please.

If you head to Settings → General in your site’s wp-admin, are WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) settings using http:// or https:// ?
It looks like they could be using http://, based on your system information — try specifying the https:// URLs there, save changes, and let us know if that helps at all!

It was set to http://
However after changing to https://, I now cannot access the site at all.

This is a bit frustrating as I now cannot do anything on the site without access, are you able to help with the above post in terms of gaining access back to the site?

I’m sorry to hear about this!
There are a few things to note:
1. At this time, you can’t really use mixed protocols on your site. It has to be all HTTP, or all HTTPS
2. If simply making the site https:// made it impossible to access your site, then it sounds like your SSL certificate itself is not set up correctly. This is a big problem and while I am sorry that it emerged out of working with our plugins, it’s a bigger issue than that and I would recommend contacting your SSL certificate provider’s support team and your web hosting provider’s support team for further assistance on straightening this aspect of your site out.
Please let me know if you are able to contact those support teams and move forward with ensuring your site is probably set up to use SSL!
