Events on last day of month spewing across next month

Hi – found the following closed item in the forum:

We saw the same behavior as reported by the user. The developer’s suggestion of changing to UTC rather than a city in the general wordpress settings did fix the problem. For my own learning, Iwould appreciate knowing why the UTC-5 would work better than the NYC one? Looking forward to 3.0!

Jonah: Yes, it did. That is why I wondered what led the developer to recommend using UTC time zone instead of city. thanks, Helen

I just asked one of our developers and he had no idea either. It’s just one of those things that for whatever reason seems to work 🙂
