ParticipantYes I have deactivated all plugins and changed the theme to the standard one and the problem did stop. Does this mean my theme is the problem?

MemberSince we’re discussing this both via email & on the thread, I’m going to shift over to the email 🙂 Will follow-up there shortly.

ParticipantI’m having a similar problem: But it gets worse.
I have two sites with (what I remember as) the exact same setup. One site works fine, the other has the blank event problem. Also, the site with the blank event problem is also not allowing a second loop using get_posts().
The site that works: http://www.roscoeviewjournal.com/calendar
The site with tbe problem: http://www.centersquarejournal.com/calendar

MemberThanks Mike. Kylie was able to get hers resolved, and relayed the following:
“It’s glitch inside page titles section. The code is unable to recognize the custom post type of calendar plugin. But you can fix this by replacing functions.php file with the one attached. The theme was from THEMEFORREST and it was called CRUZ.”
You can check out the code right here: http://pastie.org/2863110. That helpful at all?

MemberHey Mike. Thanks for the note and apologies to hear you’re having issues. Kylie emailed me a few days ago to confirm that she got the issue working. She noted:
“It’s glitch inside page titles section. The code is unable to recognize the custom post type of calendar plugin. But you can fix this by replacing functions.php file with the one attached. The theme was from THEMEFORREST and it was called CRUZ.”
You can check out what she had in the functions.php file right here: http://pastie.org/2869612. Does that help you resolve your issue, or is it different from this?

ParticipantI don’t use a ThemeForrest theme, although it’s based on the Magazine Basic theme (with LOTS of changes). Without knowing exactly what Kylie changed, I’m not sure what I’m looking for.

MemberAh, I see. Well the easy first step to check out…does this happen when you revert to the 2011 theme as well?

ParticipantRunning a new theme is not an option, but I decided to go about comparing the theme files between the site that works and the site that does. (BBEdit is awesome for this task)
The problem turned out to be some legacy code in the header of the non-working site that called the loop to create my Facebook meta files. I removed that hidden loop and Voila! Everything worked.
Whew.
Thanks for the help.
