Joanne
ParticipantHi Modern Tribe!
We need help – we have events that we are creating on kidtivity.com but they are not showing up, for example http://www.kidtivity.com/event/happily-ever-after-a-cinderella-tale/ for 10/13 and another one we just tried to add Connecticut Science Center – 10/8.
I deleted the events and recreated them and still nothing. WordPress was updated and the plugins are all the latest version. We also increased our php memory.Help. http://www.kidtivity.com/events/
Thanks!

MemberIs it possible you are mixing up/have renamed the event?
I can see this one: http://www.kidtivity.com/event/cinderella-theater-play-in-ct/ which takes place on 13 October and the first line of the description, in bold text, is Happily Ever After: A Cinderella Tale.

ParticipantHi Barry,
Thank you so much for looking into this for us. I can find that one as well and that is the event but when you physically look on the calendar it does not appear under that date? I deleted the event and re-created it and still nothing 🙁October 8, 2012 at 9:45 am #26255Joanne
ParticipantSorry also Barry I created a test event and same thing – nothing is showing up on the calendar, thank you!

MemberIs it possible you are using a caching plugin?
Could you try our standard troubleshooting steps of deactivating all non-Modern Tribe plugins and switching to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Eleven then checking to see if this is still a problem?

ParticipantHi Barry,
Yes we already did this when I e-mailed modern tribe and still nothing. We updated to all the latest versions as well. That is why they sent us here to the forum, sorry.October 9, 2012 at 7:03 am #26333Barry
MemberHey Joanne – can I ask who you were in contact with by email? I did search for emails relating to kidtivity.com but couldn’t see anything about this issue.
Of course I would like to avoid asking you to repeat any steps you have already run through.

ParticipantSure Barry, it was Leah Koerper 🙂 thank you!

MemberOK – here’s what I would need to do:
I would need to repeat those same troubleshooting steps (if you are happy for me to do so and can provide access to your WordPress installation). Working on the assumption that this will not yield anything, as you already ran through these steps, if you could provide FTP access to facilitate further troubleshooting that would be appreciated.
If you could email the necessary details to us using the same address as before ([email protected]) and mark them for my attention that would be great.

MemberI replied to your email – just for completeness, deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default theme does seem to have resolved this and you should now complete the following steps:
* Reactivate each plugin (and then your theme) one at a time, checking at each point to see if the problem has returned
* If/when the problem becomes apparent again the last item you reactivate will very likely be the cause of this problemWe can then consider other options, such as swapping out the conflicting theme/plugin for something different.
Hope that gets you on track 🙂

MemberOK I think we’re all sorted here Joanne, so I’ll close this thread now.
