ParticipantEvents on mobile aren’t showing up on my site: http://www.bayareascience.org/schedule/
Seems like a css issue?

ParticipantI should add that the dots show up, but when I click on them, nothing happens.

KeymasterHi Kishore,
Thanks so much for reaching out again!
As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
I would also recommend that you update your Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO plugins before testing as well.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantI did all of that except updating the TEC version – no impact on the situation.
Any other ideas on what could be causing the problem?

ParticipantKishore,
It looks like WP-Rocket is minifying the scripts and CSS of the Events Calendar. The scripts and CSS in The Events Calendar are already minified. You need to exclude The Events Calendar scripts, CSS and pages from WP-Rocket caching and minification. Please refer to WP-Rocket’s documentation on how to accomplish this.
Hope this helps.

ParticipantI turned off WP-Rocket minification on that page. Still no change. 🙁

ParticipantKishore,
The page source still shows remnants of being compressed. You may need to clear the cache after the changes from the Tools menu in WP-Rocket (or manually). Alternatively, you may need to deactivate options to troubleshoot the issue. After making any changes, you may need to clear the cache.
Hope this helps.

ParticipantCan I still use this kb to kill the responsive mobile mode?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/calendar-displays-mobile-view-desktoptablet-screen-sizes/I tried, but didn’t work.

KeymasterHi Kishore,
Yes, the information in that KB article does work to remove the responsive mobile mode. You can also look at adjusting the breakpoints in this article as well:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/#responsive
I took a look at your site and it seems that there are no longer any responsive styles. I do not see the dots appearing anymore when I view the mobile version of the site. The links seems to be working as well.
Please let me know if there is something that still isn’t working so that I can assist you!
Thanks,
Jaime
