Hi, accessrose. Assuming you have the “Include events in main blog loop” checked under The Events Calendar – General settings. They should show up.

    A few questions for you:

    1. What versions of WordPress, The Events Calendar, and The Events Calendar PRO are you running?
    2. Have you tested in default Twenty Twelve theme with all other plugins disabled? If so, do you still see the same behavior?
    3. Where on your site are you expecting to see them?
    4. Has it ever worked?

I’m unable to reproduce this in our test environment, so I think it may be a configuration issue with your setup. With a little troubleshooting, we should be able to get to the bottom of this.

    1. I am currently using the latest version of WP which is 3.6 and have the latest Events and Events calendar Pro plugin installed.
    2. I have tested it on a new WP installation and have the same results.
    3. I expect to see them on the “All posts” page and/or the blog page with the other content from the site.
    4. No, Not that I have noticed.

Hi, accessrose. I apologize for the delay in response.

Would you mind sending me a link to the page where you expect to see it?

The link is on the backend of my website. Or maybe I should be asking you where exactly would it show the events and blog posts together? If it says included in the blog loop where does it output the information?

Hi, accessrose. The main blog loop is what displays on your front page by default in the default theme. It is a list of all the posts in your blog.

It looks like you’ve customized your front page to include featured selections, instead of the main blog loop. That’s why I was asking where you were expecting to see it (on the front end).

Maybe if you could explain what you were trying to accomplish on the front end, I could help you more efficiently.

    Thanks!

I have changed to MULTIPLE themes and have encountered the same problem. The current page is customized because unfortunately I don’t know how to display the calendar on any page I want. As far as the posts and events showing on the front page, I don’t even see it in the posts section in the WP-ADMIN. If it displays with the posts on the front page, wouldn’t it display in the backend as well in the posts section under “All posts” or no?

Ok, It’s working BUT Now I guess I am a little confused. Is there any way to control which categories are shown?

Hi, accessrose. I’m afraid there isn’t a way for you to include events in the posts section on the back end. Sorry about that. The check box merely controls whether they are included in the main blog loop on the front end of the site.

Categories for events are exclusive to our plugin, but the tags are visible sitewide. When you talk about controlling which categories are displayed, where are you hoping to display them?

    Hope this helps!
