Sorry, I thought the website would appear from the form: http://wp.familyarena.com/events/

    Howdy familyarena,

The website actually does appear for me since you input it in the form. We do not display the URL publicly (where non admins like you can see it) simply to protect the privacy of our users, since some do not want their URL to be known publicly. But thank you for providing the URL, it helps clarify!

I am seeing that error. When I switch from Month view to List view the following URL is generated: http://wp.familyarena.com/events/upcoming/?tribe_cost=0-158.19

If we remove the bold portion of the URL it works as expected. It could be that your theme, or perhaps another plugin your are running is conflicting here. Would you mind testing? Do this by temporarily activating the default Twenty Thirteen theme, and seeing if the issue persists.

If disabling the theme fixes it, we have narrowed the issue down to a theme conflict. Do you have any theme overrides for the Events Calendar? If so could you try disabling them by renaming your [themename]/tribe-events/ folder to ‘tribe-events-bak’. Did that fix it?

If the issue persists in the default Twenty Thirteen theme, then we have a different set of debugging steps. Please keep the Twenty Thirteen theme enabled, and also disable any plugins other than the ones from Modern Tribe to see if that fixes it. If it does, please try reenabling the plugins one at a time until the issue resurfaces. When it does resurface, can you let me know which plugin caused that to happen?

What is the result of those tests? Please let me know. Thanks!

    Hi Brook,
When I activate the 2013 theme, the problem persists. I’ve gone through and deactivated all other plugins, with 2013 and still have the same issue. And even though you can get the calendar to appear by removing the ?tribe_cost=0-158.19, it still doesn’t show the events that are there…so I guess I have two problems. 1. Events don’t show in any view other than the default / List view, and 2. Events don’t show when using the search bar format switch. Lastly, I’ve found that the search function also does not work, even when in List view with the events appearing.
    Thanks for your assistance.

Just an update here – I did find that now when I remove the end part of the url string, the events do show…how can I prevent it from generating that?

    Howdy Amanda,

That is incredibly strange that the Events Search bar does not work. We have tested the plugin on countless servers, and seen it working on thousands more. But, I am unable to find any record of an issue like this.

You will notice that the URL starts adding even more erroneous bits when you start clicking other things (not just changing views). For instance clicking May >> after changing to Month views generates the following:
    http://wp.familyarena.com/events/2014-05/?tribe-bar-date=2014-05&tribe_cost=0-158.19?tribe-bar-date=2014-05&tribe_cost=0-158.19

While the tribe-bar-date is at times adding by our plugin, it is never added twice in any install I have seen except yours. So, you have something very unique going on.

Usually the most unique thing about a person’s install is their plugins & theme combination. Just about literally 99% of the time one or both of those is the root cause for an issue like this; so I am surprised that the issue persists in 2013 with only The Events Calendar disabled. Would you mind trying that one more time, but also disabling the Events Filterbar as well. It might be possible that one of our plugins did not download properly, and is this corrupted.

Could you also grab your system information and pasting it here? Make sure to use the ‘Set as private reply’ checkbox to protect your private information from the public. You can find the system info by going to WP Admin > Events > Settings, clicking on the “Help” tab, and scrolling down to the ‘System Information’ box. (Or by going to [yoursite]/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_events&page=tribe-events-calendar&tab=help) That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

    Thanks!

    Hello again Amanda,

I apologize for my belated response here. I was expecting you were going to post the result of this test, but you probably just forgot:

Just about literally 99% of the time one or both of those is the root cause for an issue like this; so I am surprised that the issue persists in 2013 with only The Events Calendar disabled. Would you mind trying that one more time, but also disabling the Events Filterbar as well. It might be possible that one of our plugins did not download properly, and is this corrupted.

Would you mind running through that test for me? Would it be possible that once you have disabled all plugins and reverted to 2013, you could once again copy/paste the system information for me? That will help us to narrow down any possible relevant data.

Or maybe you already go this fixed and that is why you have not replied. If so just let me know and I will mark this topic resolved. Thanks! Let me know if there is any information or something I can do to assist.
