    Wanted to add another page to import events and am at a roadblock.

    When I go to import and select FB from the dropdown, it goes through the “must connect to FB” routine and then returns me back to the import. However it does NOT connect to FB. Just cycles through this.

    I go to help and scroll down and it says I am not connected to FB or Meetup (Meetup is fine)…so I click on the link to connect to FB and it goes through the motions—connecting, does not allow to post to FB, wants access to groups you manage, etc. And completes.

    Go to import again and it is not connected.

    It was working fine under the old system and I upgraded and renewed all three of my products last week and now I find it is not working.

    I have deactivated other plugins and the issue remains. Have gone through the KB troubleshooting list and nothing.

    Suggestions? Help?

    Hello John!

    I’m really sorry you are experiencing that issue. Let me help you with that.

    Just to confirm, after you go through the process of connecting to Facebook, do you get redirected to the import page with the message: “Successfully connected Event Aggregator to Facebook” ? If not, please let us know what happens instead of this. You can send us a screenshot.

    Also, I can see you have WP_DEBUG_LOG activated for your site, this will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory. So that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can spot the problem from there.

    The issue appears to have corrected itself. What wa happening was a circle. It said I needed to connect to FB. When I did, it went to FB, asked permission, etc. And then returned to the same page.

    I think you can makrk it as closed though
