Events Not Extending Out + Speed Issues

Hello – I’m having several difficulties and will address one of them here and others under separate thread, hope you can help.

First, I have “Create recurring events in advance for” set for 3 months but it is not extending events out. I also have “Clean up recurring events after” set for 1 month and that does seem to be working so I’m guessing it is not a cron problem? I’ve tried with existing events and setting up new one just to test this.
