Hello, in the theme of my site i have created a static page in visual composer and selected “all category” for it, and it worked for a month. But after the last plugin update, only one category (event) don’t appear in the static page. It’s a real problem, because is the category most important for the site. I read topics on this forum but i don’t have find a solution good for me. Do you have a suggestion? I have created in the child theme “tribe-events/single-event”, it may depend on it? if i remove this page from child theme the event still does not appear in the home page. Thank you very much for any suggestion
It sounds like loop that is getting added to the home page is a custom loop and isn’t the default WordPress loop like you would find if your home settings under Settings > Reading tab within the WordPress settings were set to the latest posts.
When you select the category for the settings you describe, is there a way to choose post types within those settings as well?
Hi Josh, thanks for your answer. Yes, i think so, the home page is a custom loop and isn’t the default WordPress loop. I made many attempts and tried many solutions. The problem were the theme template and the Visual Composer plugin. Then i changed the template and removed VC plugin. For the moment everything works, now I have to start using Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus with Woocommerce, I hope to recover some of the lost time. Have a nice day
