Events Menu showing in Admin Bar for Subscribers

Hello I do not want the Events Menu to show in the Admin Bar for anyone except Administrator and Editor. It is showing a broken version for Subscribers. Please try my site login with “Username: Member, Password: test” to see what I mean.

Hi! It’s possible to remove that toolbar entry completely (please see this guide if you want to do that), however to do it selectively isn’t as easily achievable.

When you say it is a broken version am I correct in thinking it is the Event Add Ons link that is the problem here? If so, you could alternatively turn off up-sells (see here) which would then remove that item.

Hi Barry,
Thank you, that did help. I also wanted it removed from the left sidebar. I was able to accomplish both tasks by adding this code to my functions.php for my theme.
